Committed to Boston University. Thank you for your interest. See you on the pitch!
I have played soccer at a high level since 2012 and nothing has helped me more than being "coachable" and having some great coaches. I played several years with Southern Soccer Academy being coached most often by Gareth Evans, mostly in an attacking role.
For the 2016/2017 season I played for Coach Matt Lawrey at Atlanta United U13 DA where I was converted to a Center Back. When I was fit, I played well, was among frequent goal scorers and often man of the match. Atlanta United let me go and guided me to play the next season for a club where I would definitely play every game.
I returned to Southern Soccer Academy for the 2017/2018 season and played nearly every minute as Center Back for SSA's first ever U14 DA team (Coach Kelam O'Hanlon). Our team performed well above expectations and by conceding minimal goals, kept us competitive in most games, finishing 2nd in our region.
For the 2018/2019 season I played for Coach Karl Haggon, Concorde Fire U15 DA, 90% as Center Back and occasionally as a striker. Overall, this has been the best team I have played with and my game has improved throughout this season. First of all, I have learned that I am comfortable with change...I adapt to new teammates, new coaching styles, new tactics and formations with ease.
2019 Fall I played with Concorde Fire ECNL U16s and continued to practice with 03 DAs. Spring 2020 I am practicing and playing limited DA games with the 03s and also starting for Hillgrove High School Varsity and named to the 7A ALL REGION team as a sophomore.
2020-2021 Captain for Concorde Fire’s Top 04 ECNL Team
As a player, when I’m on the ball I am very calm in my decision making, and off the ball I anticipate the game well and keep busy talking to and directing my teammates. My strongest trait is reading the game and using that to my advantage. Whether it’s a long pass to an ongoing runner, or a shorter pass that breaks a line and opens up the whole side of the field, my passes are known for being crisp, on target and on time. I also was designated Penalty Taker during ECNL and am assigned to Free Kicks for Hillgrove HS as we start our season.
Playing competitive soccer in college has always been a goal of mine for the experience, responsibility and the opportunities it provides. It is early in my academic journey...so far so good with a 3.8 GPA . I am committed to majoring in Architecture and was honored with “The Best Architecture Student” at my school as a junior.
