Lucca Tommasino '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Lucca Tommasino. I was born and raised in Hawaii. I am a soccer fanatic, and I’ve played soccer since age five. I was even informed by my parents that I was kicking a soccer ball in our yard at age two. I started soccer in AYSO and went to competitive club soccer at age ten. Soccer is a part of my identity and who I am. My beginning position was a striker and an attacking mid-fielder, but my main position became goalie at the age of fifteen. I fell in love with this position because as a goalie the game outcome can fall unto you and how you ultimately perform. There is stress and pressure being a goalie, but what I feel is the desire for my team and I to win. I consider myself a very talented, solid aggressive goalie and being 6ft tall is an advantage over our opponents. I look forward to participating in college soccer. I believe that my skills and presence on the field are an asset and will exude confidence to the players on the field.
