My name is Chase Miller and I am writing to you because of my desire to play soccer at the next level. I am the goal keeper for Capital High School’s Varsity Soccer team (1st team all state Goal Keeper) and the Boise National Timbers 2001 Club Soccer Team.
I consider myself to be a well-rounded athlete. In addition to playing soccer on two teams, I am also the kicker for the Varsity Football Team. I play Varsity tennis, I swim competitively and I play basketball for Capital High. More importantly, though, I am a LEADER--both on and off the field.
Soccer is my primary sport and during my freshman and sophomore years at Capital High, I received Honorable Mention Awards in the Southwestern Idaho Conference. In my junior year, I was selected as 2nd Team All-State and Southwestern Idaho Conference 2nd team. My senior year I was honored to be selected as first team all state Goalkeeper. I have been elected Captain of Capital’s Varsity Soccer Team the last three years. Currently, I am also Captain of the Boise Timbers Thorns Pre-Academy Soccer Team.
I am a hard-working student, carrying a 3.5 GPA. I scored 1270(out of a possible 1600) on my SAT. I am part of the Student Government at Capital High School, in addition to being the school’s Sports Commissioner. I am also a proud member of the National Honor Society. I excel in math and science and look forward to learning more. Simply stated, I promise to distinguish myself in the classroom and on the soccer field.
