I am a motivated, self-starter who has a goal of playing collegiate soccer. I am a freshman in high school and recently finished my first year on the varsity team. I started almost every game and had a lot of play time each game. I consider myself a leader on and off the field, because I communicate and collaborate well with others, draw attention to the positives, and learn from mistakes. I started playing soccer with a recreational team when I was 9 and moved to a select team after my first year. I quickly developed a passion for soccer and my performance and improvement drew the attention of the competitive coaches who recruited me to play with the competitive team. I have played outside back, center back, right wing, left wing, and center mid. Of all these I enjoy and excel playing outside back and center back. I understand that there is no best player on a team and we succeed when we all support each other. I focus on building team chemistry and learning from mistakes. One of my strengths is reading the field and communicating to help my team become more successful and to build team chemistry. I am fast which makes me a great defender and strong during counterattacks. Overall, I am a great leader with good experience that strives to become the best I can.
