I first touched a soccer ball when I was 4 years old and became passionate about the sport ever since. I am a 6’1, 155 pounds, central defensive midfielder in the class of 2025. The development of my style of play comes from watching professional soccer and specifically, analyzing the style of Sergio Busquets. I am a highly versatile player who possesses a high soccer IQ, great passing ability, is calm under pressure, and defensively very sharp. My attributes have been developed by playing at the highest level.
I played for the Chicago Fire Academy for 5 years and I was the captain of my 2007 squad for 2 of those years. Throughout my time, I played in various high-level tournaments, showcases, and other competitive events. Competed against MLS Next and other international academies. My proudest accomplishment was being the MVP of the Sporting Kansas City Patterson Cup. My contributions also led our squad to make it to the quarter-finals of the MLS Next Cup.
I am interested in a university that possesses strong academics, a great environment, and competitive soccer. I work hard academically and am able to balance both school and soccer at a successful level. Being able to represent my university in both academics and athletics would be an honor.
