I have been playing goalkeeper for 12 years and have been playing club soccer for 10 years. Goalkeeping is not only a position to me, it is a way of life. Goalkeeping taught me to never retreat, to tell myself "I'm not running away" even when outnumbered. Soccer not only makes me push my limits physically and mentally, but it also makes me hold a very high standard for myself and my quality of performance.
Overall, I am a field general and a great communicator for not only my back line, but all over the field. I analyze the game, notice trends within a team's attacking force. I lead by example not only on the field, but in the classroom as well.
