Matthew Bright '24 Recruiting Profile

 I aspire to attend a college and join a team that is just as hardworking and dedicated as I am. As a collegiate student-athlete, I want to continue excelling in the classroom and on the pitch. I have laid a strong leadership foundation in and out of the classroom during high school. My dual credit and honors classes have taught me good study skills and time management. Soccer, track, Boy Scouts, and church have given me ample opportunities for leadership, personal growth, and success. I am a steadying force as a four-year starter for varsity soccer and a two-year captain. I have a positive attitude and lead by example. During the 2022-2023 high school season, I had 20 goals and 11 assists. I am equally proud of both. I always put the needs of my team ahead of my personal goals. All my coaches know that I can and will play where ever my team needs me. I possess a strong worth ethic, professional communication skills, and a belief that teamwork builds trust. I am adaptable, sincere, and hardworking, and I believe in shared common goals because they strengthen all teams and organizations.
