Ian Conger '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a physical player and a creative player. I like to set up my team players. I want to find a school that can offer me a Marketing-business degree. I am ready to compete on a top level college soccer team.

I feel like I am best as attacking midfielder and I can play wing on either side but I am a natural right foot. My club and my high school team play me as forward sometimes and I have have scored alot and assisted big goals.

I was an Illinois ODP State pool player and I played three summer tours in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland 2012-2014). We played Premiership and Championship Youth teams. We played Southampton, Birmingham City, Crystal Palace, Glascow Rangers, and the U15 Irish National team. In England, I trained at Bolton and Liverpool. I learned alot about European football playing there.

I am lucky to be a part of a great club team. My high school team did not start as good, but we ended up winning our Regionals and I got Player of the game on MaxPreps. I have been really lucky and worked with great coaches and trainers and I always want to learn more.

I don't quit. I overcome obstacles. I am mentally and physically tough. I want to find a team that will push me and help me grow and I want to help them win.
