Kevin Kurpalo '18 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is passion that has made me the person I am today. Whether it's in school, at home, or on the field, soccer has impacted my life in numerous ways. It has been a motivation to do good in school, it has been a obsession at home, and has been a blessing on the field. Since I started when I was five soccer has influenced me to be the best I can at everything. I love to try and be better than anyone and try to study the pros to see what can make me even better. I have two ultimate goals. One is to play at the collegiate level in a division I or II program. I also want to be a mechanical engineer so going to a college to play soccer and become a mechanical engineer would be a dream come true. Compared to other potential recruits I wouldn't say my academic performance would stand out. I have a 3.0 GPA and a 1090 on the SAT. When comparing athletics I believe that I am very determined to do well and not dwell on the past, what gives me motivation is the support from the people around me (my coach, the other players, and the fans). I look to the future and one game doesn't affect me in a negative way. Like I said I try to be the best I can be and know that I would work to your expectations and with my fellow teammates.
