Xavier Martinez '26 Recruiting Profile

Some things that have influenced my life are my parents for all the sacrifices they have made me to get me to where I am now. Soccer has always been a big part of my life since I was a little kid. I’ve always been around the game both my dad and stepdad both played soccer. My academic goals are to keep a high GPA and in college I want to pursue sports medicine or physical therapy. Some challenges I have faced are when I fractured toes in my left foot and couldn’t play soccer for about nine months I think it only made me stronger because I came back and all the work I put in made my weakness one of my best attributes because I can use my left foot or my right foot now. Some good characteristics I think I possess are I’m a good team leader and always strive to help my teammates on and off the field I also think I’m very hard-working and put in the work to become the best version of myself. I think I am a team player almost all teams I played on. I was the captain. I do a lot of community work for church. I did 50 hours of community service for church this past year helping with wide variety of things from feed my starving children to helping with Sunday mass. I also play volleyball and used to play basketball all for school as well so I was a three sport athlete so I played all year around well maintaining a good GPA.
