Personal Statement
I don't like to lose
But what's worse than losing a game is losing yourself in the process. I feel that you need the same energy and dedication when losing that you display while winning. This 2 seasons ago, I was on the worst team in the league where we lost every game but one. Yet my work ethic didn't change. I had the same drive all the time and at the end of that season, I was awarded 2nd team All-Conference. I bring that same drive to all things I do including academics and other extra-curriculars. This past season, I decided to improve the team by being the example of a dedicated player. This year, we won our first ever Regional game. You can choose to turn around your situation. That's what I did, because I don't like to lose. I chose to be better.
