Axel Acosta '19 Recruiting Profile

When I was 5 years old, I started playing soccer on a team in Mexico City. I dedicated many hours to playing soccer through every opportunity I had. Since I was 5, I have been playing on teams. My first year of high school in Mexico City, I was on the team for my school and one outside of school. 

My soccer dream would be to become a professional. My goal is to study kinesiology/physical therapy. 

I am a hard worker whose passion is soccer. When I’m practicing and especially in games, I never give up. 

I am different because I have had to become fluent in English very quickly. I have learned about American culture, government, and especially schools. Also, even though I’m shorter than many of my peers, I run fast and I never give up.
