Karsten Ternes '24 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always been my passion since I was younger and would like to continue my passion by playing soccer in college.  I love the sport because of the competitiveness, the skill involved, working together as a team and that soccer is played all over the world.   Being a leader on the field is something that comes natural to me. I support and push my teammates by setting examples, mentoring and being a leader on the field during games.   I enjoy helping people on the field to contributing to make the team come together and work as one.  Winning and continuing to improve every game is what I am motivated by.  I am tall, strong, physical, good positioning, good in the air, good technique and I can read the game well. As a center back, those are all  important qualities that I would want to contribute to the team I play for in college.  In addition to the skill I can bring, I will bring my leadership skills and 100% drive into being part of the team!
