Matthew Hayes '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matt Hayes, I am a 6'1" Midfielder from Wilmette IL. I have 10 years of club experience and I go to New Trier High School and have started for 3 years. I have made the Northwestern All-Star team, Indiana All-Star team, and Mid-Atlantic all-star team at summer camps. Most recently, I was selected for the the All-tournament team in the Barrington classic tournament as well as receiving an All-Sectional and All-Conference award in High School. My club team, Chicago Fire Juniors North, won the state cup in 2011 and in 2009. This year I will strive to continue that success as my last year of club.

I look forward to attending a 4 year college with a great academic and athletic experience. I would like to go to school somewhere on the east coast; however, I have not decided on where I want to go to school. I have a hard work ethic that has earned me a 3.1 GPA and I am striving to get better in the classroom and on the field.
