Personal Statement

As a student athlete, my first priority is my education and success in the classroom; however, I also have a passion for soccer and what skills it has taught me. Throughout my career as a goalkeeper I have learned something new every time I have been scored on, and that is what makes me versatile. While bringing my versatility to my senior year of high school, I was awarded captain of my team; as a result leading my team to a seasonal champions title with a record of 9 shutouts in one season. I desire to continue to learn about the art of goalkeeping and take my abilities to the next level along with my academic career as an English major.
