My main goal for college is to get a good education that will prepare me for a job. I would love to be able play soccer while I'm receiving that education. The things I pride myself on are being a great teammate, being hardworking, and being a good person. I always believe team success comes over individual success. I also take pride in improving myself. Every year in high school I've improved in soccer ability and grown as a player, as well as improving my GPA. Even when I joined a club and saw the biggest jump in ability, I still continued to improve my grades even with the time commitment that comes with playing club soccer. What drives me to get better isn't all about me, it's also about helping the team I'm on get better as well.
My coaches would say my main strengths are my speed and movement off the ball, and I mainly play as an attacker in the middle or as winger to stretch the field. On my club team, we high press so I have a lot of experience with pressuring the other team and constantly moving.
In high school, I've started varsity all four years and have helped our school win our first sectional in any sport ever, and the first to win back to back sectionals. The program has completely turned around since my sophmore year, when we didn't win a game. I tried to become more of a leader as the years went on, and tried to create a positive, winning culture no matter the circumstances.
