Personal Statement

My name is Gabe Baker. I want to study Pre-Med with hopes of post graduate education, and I’m highly interested in playing collegiate-level soccer. Ever since I was six, I played club soccer locally. I consider myself well rounded because I am doing well academically and I participate in High school band, a local church youth group, and service projects. In band, there are 3 tiers, I have been placed in the top tier for 3 years. In addition, I was named section leader this year. I also have competed in high level music competitions such as Solo and Ensemble for the past 3 years.

As for character,  I am coachable and openly ask for constructive criticism. I am a leader on and off the field and a hard worker. I am dedicated to self improvement such that I practice in the interims between club and high school soccer season.  My love for the game grows everyday, and I'm determined to become the best player I can possibly be for my team and myself.
