Evan Meyer '24 Recruiting Profile

       I have a couple of goals in mind when considering playing on a college team. I want to learn from a goalkeeper or players who have experience at a collegiate level. I want to be part of a fun, yet serious, competitive team that has a drive to win. I want to successfully juggle athletics and academics, excelling at both.  

       I am a good candidate for your team for many reasons. As a student, I am hard-working and strive to be the best I can be. I like building relationships with my professors and classmates to make my environment stress free and easy-going. As an athlete, I am also hard-working and I am teachable. I like receiving criticism so I can improve on weak aspects of my game to be the best player I can be. As a person, I am friendly, accepting, and generally a fun person to be around.

      I have a couple things that make me different from other recruits. Athletically speaking, I love competition and going to that next level will be an awesome challenge that I want to embrace. I love the atmosphere of games and being called upon late in the game. I love building relationships with my teammates on and off the field. I have a passion for the game and for improving everyday. Playing at this level also gives me the opportunity to share my faith with teammates, opponents, officials, and more. When it comes to character, I am loyal, kind, hard-working, determined, encouraging, and honest. These qualities pour over into everything I do athletically and academically. When it comes to academics, I have a 4.56 GPA and have worked hard to keep straight A's throughout my high school career. In my junior year I have juggled two AP classes and honors pre calculus and have kept straight A's through each these classes.
