I hope to attend a university with a very high academic standard, which has a matching level in football (soccer). Over my time in secondary school, I have consistently attained high grades, whilst playing football almost everyday, so balancing the life of a student athlete would come relatively easily to me. On the academic side, I attend one of the top grammar schools in the UK, so I'm very willing to put just as much work in as I do on the field as well as off it.
I have trialed/played at academies such as QPR, Oxford, Bournemouth and Reading, and I was also selected to represent my county at ages 14 and 16. At 14, I represented England with the prep school lions in the Gothia cup, and I was also playing for Basingstoke utd U18s, a semi-pro team, at age 15. I am currently representing a showcase team, called Volta, which has given me the chance to play top clubs like Sheffield Wednesday, Swindon town, Reading, AFC Wimbledon and many more academies. I have also played games against various step 2/3 men's teams, in which I was comfortable in terms of physicality and the technical side.
Playing college football would be very ideal for me as I would be able to satisfy desire for education, as well as pursuing my footballing dream playing at a high level. I am always willing to step up to a challenge and would love the chance to do so in college soccer. I can play anywhere in the midfield and I've previously played at right back too. I'm mainly a ball-winning midfielder who can score from long-range, as well as finish tidily. Although I'm currently 6'1, I am still growing so I'm able to impose physically on the game as well.
I will be a humble, ready-to-learn and fight, addition to any college team, and hope to be a great addition to your program.
