Jonathan Robberts '22 Recruiting Profile

While living on a farm in Swaziland, I grew both physically and mentally throughout my life so far, I always strive to conduct myself with honour, respect for others and to be an asset to my family and the team that I’m committed to.

Since I was a toddler, soccer has always been my greatest passion. Participating in competitive sport has taught me to work as a team and to communicate well with others. Sport has brought out a sense of leadership to my personality, that has also helped me to excel in my school environment.

I take each opportunity that I get to practice as I truly believe the more I practice, the better I will become and that hard work pays off in a victorious game and in the classroom.

Participating in Sport has taught me good sportsmanship, to follow the ethics of each sport and never to be discouraged even if my team don’t win or my shot didn’t hit the back of the net.

As a three-sport athlete and natural ball skills, together with being a light footed agility player, I’m comfortable with just about any of the positions in the front, midfield or outside back. Especially my exceptional skill of shooting for goal and ability to envision the game at large, can make an immediate impact on your program.

In my view taking calculated risks and live life to the fullest, is what life is all about. I believe that I would be a worthy recipient of a scholarship, so that I could further my dream and reach my goal to be a dynamic soccer player with a positive influence on the team, and to further explore the field of electronic engineering by studying Megatronic's while furthering my career as a soccer player.
