Academics Overview

My name is Caleb Omisore and I am 17 years old born on the 4th of February 2005. I currently study Mathematics, Economics and Business A-Levels at Holcombe Grammar School. I have a particular strongpoint in Mathematics which has shown right throughout my academic journey. This is further backed up by my attainment of a grade 8 (equivalent to an A*) in Maths at GCSE level as-well as a grade 7 in GCSE further Maths (equivalent to an A grade). I have also partaken in the UK Junior Maths Challenge which is a test that can only be taken by the top set Maths students in UK Grammar schools. I achieved a silver certificate in this. On the whole, my GCSE results were very strong; I achieved two grade 8’s, seven grade 7’s, one grade 6 and one grade 5. This exceeded the requirements needed to get into any Grammar school in Kent to study A-Levels. 

Sporting Background

I have had a strong passion for football for many years, starting from the age of 10. I have represented my school in many sports tournaments right from my primary school education to my secondary school education. I have received numerous trophies on behalf of my schools as well as personal awarded  trophies received on nomination in my local football club - Ebbsfleet United. My preferred position is right back; however I am versatile and can play a range of different positions such as centre back, right wing back and right wing. I have represented my county - Kent between the ages of 14 and 16 alongside representing my district - Medway between the ages of 11 and 15. Part of my achievements include winning a National trophy in a National Cup final game in September 2021 of which Kent won 2-0. I have received numerous positive commendations from my local football coach and other football professionals during different tournaments regarding my great talents and skills in football. These achievements have fuelled my ever-growing passion for football.

Personal goals

After completing my A-Levels, I aspire to go to America in order to study at University alongside pursuing my dream of becoming a professional football player. I believe that this is the best option for me as it allows me to achieve both goals mentioned above.
