Julian Massias '18 Recruiting Profile

I was born in the US but moved to Jamaica 13 years ago. I play soccer for phoenix academy in Kingston Jamaica. Its a soccer organization that trains selective youth players preparing them in transition into European professional football. My preferred position is left back and I also love playing the outside midfield. If needed, I can play centre back, and right back also. I use both feet but I mainly dribble with my right foot. I see my self as a very self motivated hard working player always winning the ball for my team and playing my role correctly and efficiently. Team work is the name of the game. I have a Very high work rate and great explosive speed. I have family in Gainesville and in Boynton Beach, Florida. My intention is to go to a University in Florida, Georgia, or the Carolinas with an athletic scholarship and play competitively at the Division 1 or 2 level.  I have aspirations to become a mechanical engineer and I am a good student with good study habits.
