Kenneth Dizon '16 Recruiting Profile

After just one year as a student athlete at UK's top Sporting Private Boarding School - Millfield School in Somerset - I have already been made Captain of Football and hope to lead my team to greater success in 2015/16. In my summer break I succeeded in gaining a place in Philippines National U19 team playing in AFF Cup in Laos in late August. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, and I love the game. Since I was born in Manila I have lived in 5 countries and have taken every chance I've been given to learn and play at a higher level.  I know what it means to have little so don't ever take what I've been given for granted.  In Sydney I took extra football tuition to improve my playing. I was offered a place at Millfield as part of their Elite Football Program, playing twice every week in the 1st XI before being made Captain. I went there to get a great education, become a stronger athlete, and prepare me to become a student athlete at college level.  All of my coaches and teachers remark at how hard working I am both on and off the field.  My dream is to play soccer at as high a level as I can, and the next chance I'm ready to take is to join a College as a student athlete.  My commitment is to work hard at all times, to learn and to help my team win.
