Kevin Barry '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kevin Barry and I'm from Waterford, Ireland. I am a naturally left footed defender that is capable in the following positions- Left fullback and Central Defense. I have played at every level of soccer in Ireland. I have played for two clubs in Waterford- Waterford United and Waterford Bohemians. I captained my club team in May 2010 to a National Final in which we lost by a score line of 3-0. For a small club like Bohemians, being ranked #2 in the nation was a great achievement. I was glad to be a part of the history by leading the team to the final. I am looking for a School that has ambition; Ambition to improve but also to play at the highest level possible.

I have one year of NCAA eligibility remaining and I am looking to transfer from my current college and compete elsewhere in 2015.
