Chase Oetker '23 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Chase Oetker. I will be a graduate from Ames Iowa 2023. Thank you for taking interest in what I can offer. Some qualities I have are helping my teammates, if they make a mistake I’m there to help them fix it, if there not happy I will always try and cheer them up. Academically I’m in an Honors class which gives me lots of group projects. You need good communication skills on and off the field so these projects help me practice.  On the field, I’m always aware of my surroundings which helps when I play Attacking Midfield.  At Center-back my coach always tells me that your in command. You have to control the game. Talking, yelling helping my teammates.  I believe that I am different from other recruits that you  might be considering because I am very diverse in my positions on the field.
