Austin Shomo '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the best person and athlete that I can be throughout my college journey. I was captain for Marshalltown High School’s soccer team that made a run to state in 2019. I was named 1st Team All-Conference as an outside back. I am a 4.0 student and have been named to the Academic All-Conference Team for basketball the past two seasons (2018 and 2019). I want to play and succeed at soccer at the collegiate level while also continuing my academic journey to become an elementary teacher and a coach. I will work hard, keep a positive attitude, put the team before myself, and lead by example both on the field and in the classroom. I will do everything in my power to better the team and create a positive and successful environment.
