Brennan Obbink '26 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coach, I have loved soccer my whole life, I am always the one that people want on their team. I am very competitive and I am in shape. I started Varsity for Unity Christian as a freshman as a right/left winger. I have played in multiple clubs/teams. My K-5th grade years I played rec soccer (not competitive) but all of my teams were very good. In those same years I did all the camps I could for my age and even won a trophies for one of them. 7th and 8th grade I played for my school (I was captain) and for a travel team. My 7th grade year my school only won one of 5 games but my travel team went undefeated and we play around 10 games. My 8th grade year I was captain for both of those teams and our school team went undefeated and my travel team only lost one game. The summer going into high school I was invited to play a tournament for a club team, which I helped them win just their second game. My freshman year of high school I started the season doing Varsity practices, then for the first 4 games I played the whole Junior Varsity game (I was captain) and then I would play some Varisty, but after the 4th game I play the whole JV and I played the whole Varsity game to. The 5th game I got moved up to just Varsity and stayed there for the rest of the season. As you can see I have always been with a ball at my feet, and always trying to get better. I have good footwork and I have great explosiveness, I am very physical for the ball and to keep the ball, I did not get any yellow cards this year, I know when to challenge and when to stay in front. I am very discipline and won't miss a practice, and I will work as hard as possible in and out of games and practices. I have a good Christian education, always trying to follow what Jesus would do on and off the field. Thank you for reading this and please reach out if you have any questions or anything else.
