Personal Statement
My passion for the game started at the age of four when I started playing soccer for my dad. I have always loved the game. I remember in elementary school I would wake up early to watch soccer highlights on tv. I've been a member of the Kansas Rush Academy team since I was eight years old. Rush has given me the opportunity to be a part of the Rush Select National Team, while also being able to have the chance to participate in various events around the country with my club team. My most memorable moments have been winning the last two Kansas State Cups in 2018 and 2019. Throughout my career I have always been a leader on the field and enjoy getting my teammates involved in putting the ball in the back of the net. I love to strategize and develop tactics and apply them to games. I love to understand how a formation works and how to attack the opposition while still reading the game. I pride myself on being a cerebral player by reading the game and being able to distribute the ball anywhere on the field. I love to be coached and to receive feedback on how to make our team and myself better. I'm excited to continue my soccer journey by playing at the colligate level. I believe in being not only a well rounded soccer player, but a well rounded person as well. Doing well in school is extremely important to me in order for me to achieve all of my life goals. I also believe having a job and being involved in other extra curricular actives helps to build my character outside the soccer field as well. I want to be a part of a program that not only wants to win and do great things on the soccer field, but also pushes me to be the best version of myself.
