Luke Reidell '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly competitive, mentally resilient athlete recruited to play for the Sporting KC Academy  in 2017.    Originally from Rochester, NY, my family and I moved to KC in July 2019  so that I could join the SKC Academy.  My goal is to play soccer at the highest level collegiately and to compete for Conference and National Championships.

I believe I bring a unique blend of versatility, athleticism, technical ability and leadership to the field every single day.  Depending on tactical style,  I can play both right and left outside wingback because of how clean I am with both feet, my exceptional quickness and effort in defending.  I also play outside left or right forward, which are interchangeable positions at SKC.  This allows me to utilize my creativity on the ball, vision to see the field and speed to attack in the final third.   

In terms of athleticism, according to the pod data, I rank in the top 2-3 spots in the entire SKC Academy in acceleration, deceleration, work rate and speed.  I would encourage any coach interested in learning more about me to reach out to any coach at the SKC Academy and they will attest to how coachable I am, how hard I work on and off the field and that I am an exceptional teammate to all.
