I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. It is a game that I simply love and am extremely passionate about. Being able to play with others that will push me to play better in order to compete is something I strive for. Since I was little I have always wanted to play soccer at the collegiate level, and I am willing to do anything it takes to get there.
I take IB (International Baccalaureate) classes at my school (Hammond High Magnet). I try my best to hold at least a 3.0 GPA throughout the year with a goal of ending each semester with a minimum of a 3.5. I take multiple career classes, such as Principles of Engineering (LSU) and Digital Media. I do what I can to help my school and community. By aiding in activities such as Hammond High's beautification days, and helping with local food banks. I am on my school's soccer, baseball, and track team; in order to always keep me in shape, and active.
On the field I try my best to always give everything I have. I do what I can to push my teammates, and expect them to push me as well. I am able to take criticism and critique very well, and try to better my game based on it. My primary position is Left Wing. However, I have been played at every position on the field, even goalie. I believe it is necessary to understand everything you can about the game. This gives me the ability to play everywhere on the field, due to my understanding of what each position requires. I believe my biggest strength on the field is my speed, with the next being my awareness.
Though I obviously have certain schools that I want to attend, I would genuinely be honored to be given the opportunity to play anywhere I can at the collegiate level.
