My name is Zachary Breaux and my goal is to play soccer at the next level, while receiving a quality education.
I have been playing soccer since I was 8 years old. This is my fourth year playing for Louisiana Fire, a club team in New Orleans. We practice three days a week, and the drive is one hour each way. This has required serious commitment on my part because I spend much of my time driving to and from practice. My commitment to school as well as to the team has taught me valuable time management skills, which will help me in college. I have started on my high school varsity team since 8th grade. The experience of playing against older and more physical players at a young age taught me mental toughness, and helped me to mature as a player. I feel my best attributes as a player are my work ethic, speed, first touch, and passing skills. I always do my absolute best at practice and in games, and I believe that if you can walk off the field, then you haven't given everything you've got.
