King Castillo '20 Recruiting Profile

I’m King Antonio Castillo a 17 year old junior from John Ehret Highschool in Marrero Louisiana. I’m a Fullback and defensive midfielder that plays for both highschool and club, Louisiana Fire Juniors. I believe I am a perfect candidate for your school because I have a “Never give up” attitude and a very good work ethic. I’ve been playing soccer for a majority of my life ever since I’ve been young. I love the sport of soccer and follow it passionately. I’ve been told by teammates that I am a leader on the pitch but in my eyes I see myself more as a motivator than a leader. Playing for a club has helped my social skills and my communication on the pitch since I was put to play with strangers at first. My grades in school are an AB average with around a 3.6 GPA. I also participate in Honor classes and in IB classes( International Baccalaureate). I want to continue playing soccer to hopefully get a scholarship and be the first in my family to go to college and this sport is a pathway to my goal.
