Connor Randel '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a forward from Shreveport, LA and will graduate in 2011. I was selected to the REGION III ODP Pool in 2009, my first year to try out for ODP. As a junior, I was chosen All-State, 1st Team and helped lead my team to the Div. 1 state semi-finals, scoring 32 goals and 18 assists, including 3 hat tricks in 4 play-off games. As a sophomore last year, I helped lead my high school team, Captain Shreve High School, with 26 goals (second to my older brother, Brennan) as we made our way to the state finals (lost to the No. 1 team in the nation, Jesuit - ESPN FAB 50 rankings). I received All-State 2nd team honors as a sophomore. Some may think I am left-footed, since I sometimes use it more, but I am actually right-footed. It is my goal to attend a top D-1 or D-2 university and play soccer. Education is my top priority and I am enrolled in Honors Math, English, Biology, and World History have maintained an A in all of them.
