My name is Ethan Triance. I started playing soccer when I was four years old on our town recreational team in Standish. When I was nine, I tried out for the district travel team, Bonny Eagle Soccer Club, and made the U9 team. I continued to play through middle school, making the Bonny Eagle Middle School team. When I aged out of our club program in eighth grade, I tried out for and made the Velocity FC premier team. While on this team, I have been able to play competitively with players from surrounding districts and travel out of state for a variety of tournaments. In 2022, I earned the Coach's Award and in 2023 and 2024, was chosen as a captain of my team.
I have always looked up to my coaches and taken their constructive criticism and feedback seriously. I take pride in being a coachable player and love to support my teammates. I am much more concerned about the success of my team than I am about making myself look good. I also always recognize the skill of the opposing team and have often complimented my opponent on their passes or shots; I feel it is important to show good sportsmanship, on and off the field.
I enjoy school, mostly because I am social and like being part of a group. I take school seriously and have an interest in environmental science and biology.
