Dennis Beauclair, Jr. '15 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer since I was 3 years old.  I am a team player.  I am a leader, leading by example and enjoy helping my teammates. I have played all positions on the field and have done well as a forward and in the midfield, and excelled  in defense and now as goalie.  In FC Frederick while playing on defense Coach Rudi  would place me against the best forward on the opposing team.  I enjoy going against the best players the other team can field while on defense and now as Goalie.  While on defense and as a goalie the coaches from opposing teams have sought me out, on numerous occasions, to congratulate my ability in stopping their attacks.  I have also been asked by coaches multiple times to join their teams. I am involved in many activities in and out of high school.  I currently have a 4.1 weighted average and a 3.6 / 4.0 average so far in high school.  I take honors classes and plan to take 6 Advance Placement classes (4 so far) to get the Gold Scholar award by the time of my high school graduation.

Played as a utility player on JV Soccer team relieving starting forwards, midfielders, and defenders;

Sophomore Year:

Played Starting Goalie on JV Soccer team.  Had four shutouts out of seven games as goalie;

member of the National Society of High School Scholars. 

Junior Year:
Played backup Goalie on Varsity Soccer team;

Boys-State Scholarship Recipient and Graduate;

Outside of school, I play club soccer (Primary Goalie), am a 2nd degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, and a
volunteer in my Catholic Church.
