Samuel Machado '23 Recruiting Profile

Im Samuel Machado and I attend highland view academy. My Collegiate goal is to eventually make it as a d1 athlete for the sport of soccer and go pro eventually. Some of the things that set me apart from other recruits is my leadership. I am the RA of the boys dorm and have been since my sophomore year, I have been varsity soccer captain for 2 years, I have been the varsity basketball captain for 2 years, I am also the gymnmastic team captain for the past 2 years, and I have also been the class of 2023 vice president for 2 years. I have been put in a lot of leadership positions and I have excelled in all of them. I’m always very attentive and listen well. I pick things up super quickly. I’m not only a dedicated athlete but I am also very dedicated student who Is always putting effort in in the classroom. I’m a Super coachable player that will always listen no matter what. I have been an athlete my whole life. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 2 when I was living in Brazil. I’ve played Competitive soccer, flag football, baseball, and basketball. I also trained a bit of Muay Thai. I know what it’s like to put the work in and give 110% in everything I do. I have always been an A B student. I have always been an Honor Roll student for all of my life and I don’t plan on changing that.
