Personal Statement
My name is Spencer Giuliano. I love the sport of soccer and make sure to train every single day. I start on my Bishop Feehan High School team at holding midfield and start for my Juventus Academy Boston club team at the same position. I have a switch foot as I can play balls with either foot, and also shoot equally well with each. I can also send in free kicks and corners with either foot. During high school season I train everyday with the team. I make sure to set an example for my team and help underclassmen get adjusted. Because of this I have been voted captain for the upcoming season. After high school season ends, I start club in which I train 3 days a week with my team and play a EDP league game on Sundays. I also play for futsal during the winter, and an indoor team with friends. I want to play soccer as much as I can at all times. Everyday that I do not have training with my club team I make sure to run 3-4 miles, and train at MJP Strength and Conditioning. I believe my athleticism and strength are very important aspects to my game and strive to improve in them as much as I can. I always make sure to keep a positive work ethic as my club coach is always looking to replace players who are not working, and I also want to better myself as a player. My work ethic also applies to my academics as I always make sure to maintain high grades in my honors and AP classes. During the summer I make sure to attend camps around the area such as at Roger Williams University and Lasell College. I take the summer to get in better shape and improve my game on my own and with friends. I am a 2021 graduate, and am now seriously starting my college search this junior year, and hope to find the right fit for me both academically and athletically.
