Matthew Sullivan '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matthew Sullivan. I am a 2025 centerback from Mansfield, MA. I currently play for my high school team and my club team, NEFC South in the USYS National League. I wear number 21.

For me, academics are a priority. I hold a 3.5 out of 4.0 GPA, and I take AP and honors courses. I do consistent work and participate in my classes, and I like to be challenged.

On the field, I am a strong, quick, and agile defensive player. I play centerback and can play outside back as well. I am able to defend as apart of a unit and work with my teammates. 

Soccer is important to me because the sport makes me a stronger person. I love the pace of the game, how consistency is key to success, and how there is not one minute where you can let up. Precision and attention to detail is something I strive for. From soccer, I become better on and off the field.

I believe I will succeed at the collegiate level because I am disciplined, hard working, and adaptable. I give my full effort on the field no matter what.
