I’ve played soccer since the age of four, and I started playing club soccer in 2nd grade. The strengths I’m most proud of are my communication skills and my understanding of the game/IQ. Although I'm now a goalie, I was actually a field player (typically RB/LB) until my freshman year in Fall 2022, when my high school team didn’t have a goalie. I raised my hand that year and agreed to be in goal, eventually earning the captain’s arm band. Then, my Bolts EDP National ’08 club team found itself in a similar situation, when the team’s goalie left. My coach asked me if I would be willing to try being in goal for the 2023 club season. I didn’t hesitate to say yes, and started training five days a week between my own team's trainings, two goalie trainings with the MLS Next club, and even my coach's '07 team trainings. I usually had two trainings a day, and sometimes three. In the end, I helped my club team win the State Cup and make a decent run in regionals. Overall I see myself as a smart player who will do whatever it takes to make my team the best it can be.
