I've been crazy about soccer since I was 3, spending every spare moment kicking a ball against the side of the house and scrimmaging with my family/friends. Playing as a left and right outside back, I've learned to become very comfortable playing with both feet when attacking down the wings. It also helps that I was born extremely fast.
Even though I've had my share of setbacks (i.e., I'm currently recovering from a recent collarbone injury), I'm determined to keep pushing toward my dream of playing college soccer at the highest level possible. However, school is important to me as well. So, finding a school with strong academics is also important.
This ability to overcome great obstacles is an outgrowth of the fact that I was born without a left hand. It has never held me back and has given me the resilience to push on over difficult situations.
