Yasir Yuhas '23 Recruiting Profile

 I am a hard worker when it comes to not only soccer but also in other aspects of my life. This trait is strongly displayed in soccer; because it isn’t just a game to me, it’s a passion. I have fun doing it so I am willing to put in the extra effort. 

When it comes to playing on a team, no matter the situation I am always the person to keep everyone positive and energetic on and off of the field. Being positive is the biggest priority of mine and I consistently practice it.  After every single loss in this past high school season, I made sure to write a personal message to the team letting them know that I was happy with their effort, and sometimes there isn't anything else you can do. Throughout the whole of the season, I made sure to push everyone to do their best, including myself.

This positivity is also present outside of my soccer team. With my peers, teachers, coaches, and people within my communities, I always strive to make these relationships as positive as I can.
