Personal Statement
While in college, some of my goals and aspirations would be to be involved in clubs and activities that helps kids. I want to be part of a special project that can help children or people with down syndrome or other special needs. I would also like to advocate for the rights of the less fortunate and marginalized people of our society.
I believe I am a good candidate for any team because as a goal keeper, I am quick, not only at running, yet with my hands as well. I am a fast learner in the sport and I want to continue to develop and grow while in college. Also, while going through drills and workouts, I focus on completing the drill the way its supposed to be done. It's important to me to focus on the strategy and technical part of the game while developing myself.
The things that make me different from others is that I am a caring person. I care about others, especially my family, friends and teammates. I often show how caring I am so that others can see how we are supposed to treat one another by talking and listening to them. Traits necessary to be as a leader. I am also a thinker. As a thinker, I try to understand the difference between right and wrong so that I don't hang around the wrong people that will lead me and others into trouble. I am also one who values communication. I love talking to my family and friends. I especially when trying to motivate my classmates and teammates.
Currently, I am 6'2" feet tall and I hope to continue to grow. I am coach-able and I am a great communicator. I am strong and continue to get stronger. I am a student of the game and a student in the classroom also. I value learning because both of my parents are teachers. I pride myself in being ranked 5th in my class out of 172 students. I have a 3.95 gpa and I attend an International Baccalaureate school in Lansing, Michigan.
