Personal Statement

My name is Matthew Shattuck and I am a hardworking soccer player from Owosso, MI. I have started on the Owosso High School varsity team as a midfielder for 3 years. I have an above 4.0 GPA and take school very seriously. I am looking for a school with the right balance of athletics and academics. I would like to pursue a college with a good academic program in the field of engineering, preferably in the Midwest region, but would consider schools outside of that. I also believe that my best fit for soccer would be at a DII, DIII, or NAIA level.
