Evan Baum '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Baum I am currently a freshman at John Glenn High School. I currently have a  3.4 GPA after my first year of high school. Every school year I have I made the honor roll. I find it very important to challenge myself in the classroom and on the field.

 My goal one day is to play college soccer and to go pro.

I wanna go to school and get a major in sports management or sports broadcasting.

I have played for Wayne Westland arsenal, and Canton Celtic a and b team throughout my soccer career.

I have been playing sports since I was 3. Now I'm in high school and I play 3 sports. In my freshman year I played freshman basketball point guard, freshman football kicker, JV soccer starting cam/rm. My goal one day is to go pro. 

Those extra sports keeps my game fresh for soccer so I can last a 90 minute game.

What makes me different from other recruits is that I have played soccer since I was 3. My coach says I probably have the best soccer knowledge on the team.  My main strength is my offense, I love playing through balls, if I need to shoot I will, and I'm good at keeping the ball moving.  At defense I'm good at giving good back pressure and on ball defense.
