Parker Nelson '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. I have always loved to play the sport and would love to continue playing into the college level, while pursuing a higher education.

Speed is one of my main assets, as well as being able to use both feet equally. I do very well when I get the ball, being able to come out on top of 1v1 situations, as well as being able to find a teammate running in on net and feeding him through with either an accurate cross or a well-timed through ball. I have a well-rounded shot and can take shots from both outside or inside the box hitting it on frame with accuracy and velocity.

I am a very aggressive player on the field and will do everything I can to maintain control of the ball or win it back for my team. I am always ready to be jostled around and I am out there ready and able for anything. Last year my skills and aggressiveness have provided several opportunities to be called up to play for the U18 select team as a 16-year-old. In 2022 and 2023 my Minnesota Rush Select club made it to Nationals. In 2022 Mayo High School soccer made it to the first round of the state tournament for section 1 AAA. In 2023 Mayo High School soccer made it to the finals of sections for section 1 AAA. I made all section 2023 for Mayo High School soccer. I have been voted in as captain for the upcoming 2024 Mayo High School season. I currently am playing for Minnesota Rush Select which is part of the NPL super league and USYS Regional league. Recently, I have been asked to play for a team called Austin Villa which is a team in the UPSL Premier League.
