My name is Leonard Eugene Colinet and I am a dual citizen of the United States and Canada. Falling asleep in a soccer net at 3 years old during kindergarten in New York proved to be a prophetic moment. Being a goalkeeper was my calling. I quickly gravitated towards the position that demands not just physical prowess, but strategic thinking and unwavering focus. As a goalkeeper, I have learned that my role extends far beyond making saves. It also requires leadership and communication. By 2025, I will have played five years in the Provincial Youth Premier League of Quebec for Club de Soccer Longueuil, one of the top programs in Canada. Additionally, I achieved the silver medal at the U15 Canadian Championships in 2023 and receive the golden glove in 2023 for the best goalkeeper in the Province of Québec. In 2024, I have joined the Seacoast United MLS program.
Beyond the field, I am equally committed to academic excellence, maintaining a 4.0 GPA with the goal of entering esteemed programs in finance or engineering. This commitment underscores my determination to balance rigorous academics with competitive soccer, demonstrating my readiness for the challenges of collegiate athletics. I am currently attending St. Paul's School (Class of 2027) in New Hampshire. Looking ahead, I am eager to bring my passion for soccer, my years of experience as a goalkeeper, and my academic achievements to your college program.
