Kyle Haas '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" midfielder/striker from Allenstown, NH, and I play varsity soccer at Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, NH. I am currently a junior and I will graduate with the class of 2013. I have been playing soccer for 10 years, 2 of them being at the varsity level. My indoor soccer team recently won the championship for our division. I also play on a club soccer team, Concord Express.


I realize I have started the recruiting process late, but playing soccer in college is a dream I have had for a long time. I would love to play at the DII, DIII, or NAIA level and on a team where I can make a great impact as soon as possible and get playing time as a freshman. I do not have a preference on school size, but I would like to be at a school that takes sports seriously. Financial assistance is going to be the deciding factor on where I go to school. Academics are also extremely important to my family and I, so a college in high academic standings is going to be crucial. My current GPA is 3.9 and I am enrolled in all Honors courses.


Throughout my first 2 and 1/2 years of high school, I have never been absent. This shows that I am very committed to not only my sports team, but to my academics as well. I have also been captains for 2 previous sports teams. In 2005 and 2007, my outdoor soccer team won the NH State Championship (Kohl's Cup).
