Playing soccer is my passion, as I can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t kicking a soccer ball around. Since the time I could walk, I have been dribbling a ball. Now that I am looking to start the next phase of my life, the thought of hanging up my cleats is not something I am willing to do just yet. While going to college is extremely important from an educational perspective, playing soccer is what grounds me. Thanks to some great coaches, my style of play is to be unselfish, be the best teammate that I can be, yet set an example for everyone on the field. This includes working hard at practice to develop good habits and always be up to the task regardless of how challenging our opponent may be. Over the past 6 months, training hasn’t been easy, but I have stepped up my routine - lifting, running, working on my technical skills and playing as much pick-up soccer as possible. I remain determined in my goal of finding a school that represents the best academic and athletic fit.
