Roshan Dave '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Roshan Dave!  I am currently a Junior playing on the Bridgewater Raritan High School team as JV Captain. I am a Scholar Athlete who is interested in studying Business in college. I have played soccer since I was 7 years old at the recreational, club, and high school level. I am passionate about soccer and constantly seek to excel on the field. I do this by maintaining a positive, "can do" attitude and pushing myself at all points of the process. Additionally, I strive to be a leader on and off the field. On the field, I use my communication, listening, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills to help lead my team. Off the field, I seek to create a positive impact on my community through my extracurricular activities and my frequent volunteer service. For example, over the last two years, I have volunteered 350+ hours at the local food pantry, public library, and local Hindu temple. In 2021, I received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in recognition of my service in the community. 

In college, I aspire to pursue excellence in academics, soccer, and community service. I am a coachable, hard-working, and team-oriented player. Above all, I believe in playing with integrity and appreciating the beauty of the sport. Throughout my life, soccer has been a key source of personal growth and I hope to continue this in college. I am hoping to balance the academic rigor of college with developing as a player and contributing as much as I can on the field.
