Soccer is not just a sport that I have played throughout my life. It has taught me life lessons like respect, discipline, and leadership. In many ways, soccer has helped me through adversity. I always make sure to put my best effort towards everything that I do whether it is academically, socially, or on the field. I aspire to carry these morals through my next phase of life, college.
Being a good candidate for one's team is an accomplishment in itself. To be able to have a chance play this "beautiful game" at a collegiate level is an honor. I believe that my undeniably well taught morals make me a good candidate for your team. No matter the task, I will always try to be different while doing what is asked of me. Whether it is a team goal, or a simple task from coach, I will work to the best of my ability to complete it.
Each individual is different, and finding one special student-athlete apart from the rest is a very difficult task. Everybody goes to school, but not everybody necessarily can value it as much as I do. Yes, I would be grateful to play soccer for my college, but first, I am competing academically. I work hard in the classroom, as I am currently enrolled in 4 AP classes.
My character is not just an ordinary student athlete, but without a doubt a potential candidate for your program. I am a hard working, passionate, funny, smart, and a disciplined leader. I strive to be the best I can be day in, day out, on and off the field.
